The beaches of Westpunt have been declared the most beautiful beaches on the island!
Curacao, a beautiful island in the Caribbean. Surrounded by clear blue water. An island where you can fully enjoy the sun, sea and beach. To help you on your way, we have listed our 10 most beautiful beaches. And again, they are all located no more than a 30-minute drive from Villa Westpunt.

Playa Kalki next to Villa Westpunt

Playa Kalki is a beautiful beach. The sand is whiter than white and the sea is bluer than blue. The beach is not only beautiful above water but also under water.


The reef at Playa Kalki is called "Alice in Wonderland" because the coral grows in exuberant shapes and forms a landscape like an underwater maze. It is highly recommended for divers to explore the underwater world at Playa Kalki. Definitely a gem among the beaches in Curacao.


Playa Forti 4 minutes

The colored stairs to Play Forti. You only have to stand at the cliffs of Playa Forti (also called Playa Westpunt) and people jump from a great height (12 meters) into the turquoise sea.


Not a fan of cliff diving?
Here you can also relax on the beach or have a bite to eat or drink at the restaurants.


Playa Grandi 4 minutes

Playa Piskado, Playa Grandi or simply 'the fisherman's beach'. This is the beach to spot sea turtles. At the beginning of the pier, fishermen sell their catch of the day, which is also one of the main reasons why there are so many sea turtles. The fishermen clean the freshly caught fish for sale and throw the "leftovers" into the sea.


Want to increase your chances of swimming with the turtles? Make sure you're there early in the morning!

Playa Jeremi 10 minutes

Visit this narrow, picturesque bay late in the day, hanging around to watch the sunset, when you can fully appreciate the clear waters without forgetting the lack of shade.


There are no facilities so make sure you bring your own food and drinks.


Grote Knip 10 minutes

Kenepa Grandi. Also known as Grote Knip.

Grote Knip is known for the white sandy beaches with beautiful crystal clear blue waters and gorgeous vista overlooking the beach. It's very popular with the Curacaoan's themselves. Knip Beach lets you swim and sunbathe in one of the most beautiful surroundings on Curaçao.


Kleine Knip 10 minutes

Kenepa Chiki, the smaller more intimate beach. Also known as Kleine Knip. It is pretty isolated and there is only one road which leads to the beach. Kleine Knip is best known for it's snorkeling hotspots along the coast line.

Blend in with the the local population at this beautiful but small beach. This is where you will find Curaçaoan families spend the whole day playing, swimming and even have their barbecue.


Playa Lagun 12 minutes

This is hands down one of the most ‘grammable beaches on the island, with pastel-colored fishing boats dotting the shoreline from early morning until dusk. The water is shallow and crystal clear, making it an ideal place to spot marine life just below the surface.



Cas Abou 30 minutes

Cas Abao Beach offers you a white sandy beach, crystal clear waters, waving palm trees and many parasols. Cas Abao is ideal for swimmers, and its reefs a paradise for snorkelers and scuba divers. A raft for sunbathing and playing is moored off the beach. There is a bar, restaurant, showers, toilets, massage facility and dive shop.


Porto Marie 30 minutes

Playa Porto Mari is a beautiful sandy bay to be found on the private estate of Plantages

"Porto Mari" on the west coast. Its white coral sand beach, with clear and calm water, is a true paradise for water lovers.

You also might get to meet some pigs and iguanas that frequent the area.


4 Beaches of San Juan 30 minutes

Four beaches can be accessed from a single entry point near the northern town of Soto. At the former Landhuis of San Juan, you’ll be asked to pay a small entry fee before continuing along a set of dirt paths that lead to the sea. It’s up to you which path you take. It's a beautiful and gorgeous break from the busier beaches of the island and a great place to just be one with nature. There are no facilities, so if you want to stay longer you have to bring your own food and drinks.
